Who are these art

classes for?

Creative Collab classes are designed for children aged approximately 6 to 10 years old who have an interest in art and creativity, are eager to learn new skills.

What will my child learn?

Your child will learn about modern local talents as well as influential historic artists. We explore different artistic eras, styles and traditions to weave into our own creations.


Practical art skills and techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, collage, animation, textile weaving etc…


Design principles like colour theory, composition, perspective, and the use of space, shape, and texture.

What makes Creative Collab classes different?

Our small classes are run by teachers who are passionate about art and creativity.

We aim to provide a supportive environment where children are encouraged to take creative risks and build confidence.

Where do the classes take place?

Located at 5 Maskell Street, St Heliers, Auckland 1071, Cigana St Heliers is small coffee shop, opposite St Heliers School. We use the space, after the cafe has closed. During this time, the cafe is closed off to the general public.

What will my child need to bring?

A light snack (if required) and water bottle. Clothes that are ok to get the odd bit of paint or glue on – creativity can get messy!

What is your cancellation policy?

School Holidays – All class bookings are non-refundable. We rely on enrolment numbers to plan and prepare materials for each session. If your child is unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance and we will be happy to reschedule to another available class.


After School Art – All bookings are non-refundable. We rely on enrolment numbers to plan and prepare materials for each week. Due to the multi-week structure of our these classes, we're unable to offer make-up sessions for missed classes.
